Minnesota Wheat On-Farm Research Network coordinator Missy Geiszler says the weather has generally been good for the small grains. “We had that little hot spell in the beginning of June and I’m wondering if that might have affected the tillering on some of the earlier-planted stuff. Other than that, it has been a nice cool season for the wheat.”
