With the ongoing trade disruptions, Grain Growers of Canada is calling on the federal government to provide support to Canadian farmers. This group says the trade war between the U.S. and China is having a significant impact on grain farmers north of the border. In addition to the suspension of canola imports from Canada, soybean prices have also gone south. Grain Growers of Canada Chair Jeff Nielsen said it is time for the Canadian government to aggressively defend the interests of Canadian agriculture.
