The developer of a proposed wind farm southeast of Bismarck has sold the project to NextEra Energy. PNE sought to build a 70-turbine wind farm in southern Burleigh and northern Emmons counties. The Burleigh County Commission denied special use permits for the project in December, which has been challenged in the courts. The next step for the project is not known.
