Soybean and Corn Advisor President Michael Cordonnier says Brazil’s soybean crop is finishing on a strong note. “I just made a few adjustments upwards in my estimate. The Brazilian soybean crop is raised to 115 million tonnes. There were lots of problems with early maturing soybeans,” explains Cordonnier. “They were low yielding because of dry weather in December and January, but the rains picked up. It won’t be as good as last year, but better than two months ago.” Cordonnier raised his Brazilian corn projection as well to 94.5 million tonnes.
