South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem has signed off on a partnership between South Dakota State University and the University of Minnesota to address the shortage of large animal veterinarians. The program would allow students to complete two years of study in Brookings and another two years in St. Paul. With this new agreement, SDSU’s current arrangement with Iowa State University will expire in August of 2021.
