Over the weekend, yet another winter storm impacted portions of the Northern Plains and the upper Midwest. According to World Weather Incorporated, five to twelve inches of snow fell in southern North Dakota and northern South Dakota into western and central Minnesota. Local totals of 15 inches were reported in western Minnesota. Snow depths are now over 20 inches in many areas of southern North Dakota and northern South Dakota into Minnesota and Wisconsin. Additional snowfall is expected Wednesday and Thursday from western Nebraska to northern Minnesota, with six to twelve inches possible.
