Many farmers and ranchers in Minnesota have received damage or loss of barns, sheds and grain storage due to heavy snow loads and/or high winds. As a result, those producers may be eligible for low interest loans by contacting their county Farm Service Agency office. According to Minnesota Department of Agriculture Commissioner Thom Petersen, the state “is working to make assistance program available, and more information will be available soon.”
