Stine Seed District Sales Manager Shane Kyllo, who is based at Mayville, North Dakota, says the low commodity prices are responsible for some of the hesitation. “A lot of guys are just unsure on what they want to do. It’s tough to pencil soybeans in right now and with corn going down, that’s not as attractive as it once was either.” There is some excitement now that the Enlist traits are approved. “Just don’t be driving your feet; if you’re thinking about Enlist, speak to one of your salespeople, whether it is me at Stine or one of the competitors.”
