Midwestern farmers were enjoying the Florida sunshine during Commodity Classic, but the conversation often turned to the difficult weather conditions at home. “Look at the Upper Midwest, we have a lot of snow on the ground and it is likely going to be a late spring,” said Bill Gordon, vice president, American Soybean Association. “I think that’s going to have as much impact as the price does as farmers look for something that is profitable for this year.” Gordon farms near Worthington, Minnesota.
