Parts of the Northern Plains are likely to flood this spring. World Weather Incorporated Senior Agricultural Meteorologist Drew Lerner doesn’t expect flooding to be of epic proportions, but says it’s important for farmers to plan ahead. “We’ll have some short term breaks in the pattern that will allow for some drying, but because of the persistence of wet weather and the fact that we may not get to warm up well between the precipitation events, we may just be faced with a surplus moisture problem.”
