After 35 days with a partial government shutdown, the federal government is reopening for three weeks. That will give the administration and Congress time to work out their differences on immigration and the wall. Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue welcomed the reopening of the federal government, saying “preparations are being made for a smooth reestablishment of USDA functions.”
