Winter storm warnings are in place this morning from central Minnesota into west-central Wisconsin. The greatest snow amounts are in west-central Minnesota through southern Wisconsin. Another one-to-three inches of snow is expected in that region. For northwest Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota, the story is the sub-zero temps. World Weather Incorporated Meteorologist Drew Lerner says Wednesday morning will be the coldest in the Northern Plains and Upper Midwest. Lows in the minus 30s and minus 40s are expected from the central and eastern Dakotas into Minnesota. Extreme northeastern North Dakota and northern Minnesota could see the actual air temp near the 50 below zero mark.
