At this point in the trade negotiations between the U.S. and China, both sides need to find a way to win. Ag & Investment Services President Sue Martin says China is being very shrewd in their negotiations. “When we look at China, we’ve got to let them save face a little bit, but they’re very savvy and they aren’t giving in until they get something to their advantage or know they need to do it.” Decisions are still being made on planted acreage. Martin, who was part of a panel at MN Ag Expo, said those determinations may change a few times before the planters come out of the shed.
