Minnesota Congressman Collin Peterson was elected to chair the House Agriculture Committee Friday. This is the second time Peterson will lead the committee, first serving from 2007 to 2011. Since 2011, Peterson served as ranking member of the committee. In a statement, Peterson says there’s no shortage of work to be done including implementing the farm bill, dealing with a challenging farm economy and the ongoing trade war.
