The grain markets put in a volatile year for 2018, highlighted by political and trade uncertainty. Looking back, Minneapolis March spring wheat was down 65 cents on the year, and March spring wheat was down 68.25 cents. Chicago March wheat gained 76.25 cents, and Kansas City March wheat gained 61.5 cents. March corn gained 24.25 cents for the year, while July corn gained 23.5 cents. For the year, January soybeans lost 69.25 cents, and March soybeans are down 66.75 cents from one year ago.
