Area wheat growers will look ahead at the 2019 growing season and discuss profitability during Wheat University. The one-day event, sponsored by BASF and High Plains Journal, will be held at the Bismarck Event Center January 17. High Plains Journal Associate Editor Jennifer Latzke says there’s a great line-up for featured speakers and breakout sessions. “We’re gonna have Frayne Olson from North Dakota State University. We’ll also have Dan Wogsland from the North Dakota Grain Growers Association,” says Latzke. “This is a great time for them to talk about what’s in the farm bill that can benefit producers.” A full line-up of speakers and breakout sessions are available here. Pre-registration is encouraged, but not required.
