Standard Grain President Joe Vaclavik remains very cautious about trade with China. Vaclavik says so far, nothing about the trade war has changed. “We’re still in the midst of a trade war. China purchased a small amount of soybeans and reduced auto tariffs. At the end of the day, they haven’t done much with intellectual property and technology,” says Vaclavik. “We don’t have a trade war because of agriculture or automobiles. Those are just collateral damage at this point.”
