The Risk Management Agency has approved a change in the final planting date for North Dakota sunflowers. North Dakota counties that had a June 5 final planting date will now move to June 10. The counties that had a June 10 deadline will now have a final planting date of June 15. The National Sunflower Association sought the change, aligning North Dakota planting dates with neighboring states.
