South Dakota Governor Dennis Daugaard presented his final budget proposal as governor Tuesday. For the 2020 fiscal year, he recommends about $1.7 billion for the general fund. He also recommends $53 million in spending increases for education and state workers. South Dakota governor-elect Kristi Noem could make some changes in the fiscal year 2020 budget.
