House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Kevin Brady has released a tax and oversight package that includes the extension of the biodiesel and renewable diesel tax credits. This proposal would extend the biodiesel tax incentive through 2024. In the past, this tax credit has been allowed to expire and then reinstated retroactively. The National Biodiesel Board said a long-term extension would provide “certainty” for farmers and the biodiesel industry.
