University of Minnesota Extension Crops Educator Angie Peltier says there are soybean fields damp or still covered in snow near the Crookston, Minnesota area. “Some people are worried and resigned to the fact they may not be able to get into the field before more snow to harvest soybeans.” Peltier says there may be some farmers who will need to wait until next spring to harvest the soybeans. “I think people are worried, just because of how dry it was during pod fill. There are many unknowns.”
