Red Lake Falls, Minnesota farmer Gary Purath is done with harvest. “We got done harvesting soybeans a few weeks ago. Overall, the yield turned out good and bean quality is decent after recent snow.” Purath harvested corn before the soybeans. “Moisture of the corn was probably 17 to 22 percent. There was some concern about stalk health issues with the drought stress we had this summer. Yields are average to slightly above average. It’s good to have harvest wrapped up.”
