Ahead of the delegate sessions, Minnesota FFA State Secretary Laura Church was looking forward to a discussion on how to better prepare FFA members to tell their story in agriculture. “I really enjoy sharing my story with others. It’s important to keep your mind open, but also fight for what those Minnesota FFA members need and what will help them be successful in the organization.” Minnesota State FFA Vice-President Keagan Zimmerman wants current FFA members to continue their support of the organization. “We’re finding a lot of students that take off their (FFA) jackets and aren’t moving into alumni membership. We’re not really sure why. We want to keep that connection strong and keep building connections in their professional careers.”
