Checks are going out for USDA’s Market Facilitation Program. North Dakota Farm Service Agency State Director Brad Thykeson says payments have been made to wheat farmers. “We’re going through some growing pains because the program is so new, but we have people that are done with their wheat production that signed up for the program and we actually have money in the producers’ pocket.” Farmers must wait until the corn and soybean harvest is complete to submit production totals. “By January 15, make sure you get in and sign the CCC-910 form with the Market Facilitation Program.”
