The Export Exchange meeting took place Tuesday and Wednesday in Minneapolis. U.S. Grains Council President and CEO Tom Sleight says recent trade agreements were a focus at the event. “Japan is a great market for U.S. corn. We want to have a solid underpinning of a trade agreement with them. Beyond that, we’re starting to see momentum with trade agreements. We’d like to see that expand into south and southeast Asia. We’re pushing on all of these fronts. We’re having an excellent year in terms of sales volumes.”
