Minnesota Grain and Feed Association Executive Director Bob Zelenka says grain elevators are using all space possible, including bunker storage for the crop. Zelenka reminds farmers to communicate with elevator managers on how close they are to being full. “In a public warehouse, you cannot reserve space. It’s a first-come, first-serve basis. The more information farmers have on space availability, the better for everyone.”
