Soybean harvest is in the early stages for Crookston, Minnesota farmer Tim Dufault. “We have a little bit of work ahead of us. The beans go quick, but mostly we’re just amazed at the crop. Yields are averaging around 40 bushels per acre, and the first couple fields are probably some of the worst looking fields.” However, Dufault says soybean yields in the area do vary, ranging from 20-to-50 bushels per acre. “Generally, everybody is happy with the soybeans so far.”
