South Dakota farmers are expected to harvest a record corn crop. The average corn yield is forecast at 173 bushels per acre, up 28 bushels from last year’s drought-stricken crop. Soybean production is also record large. South Dakota soybean yield is forecast at 49 bushels per acre, up six bushels from last year.
