Minnesota’s average corn yield is expected to be down three bushels an acre from last year. USDA says yields are expected to average 191 bushels per acre. Minnesota’s soybeans are estimated at 50 bushels per acre, an increase of one bushel from the August report and three bushels above 2017. Thousands of corn and soybean acres planted in Minnesota won’t be harvested, due to extreme weather in parts of the state.
