The Minnesota Association of Wheat Growers is hosting their September Marketing Seminar Wednesday. Executive Director David Torgerson says it’s an atypical year for marketing. There is a lot of uncertainty in the marketplace. “NCTC Farm Business Management Instructor Josh Tjosaas is going to talk about the budget for 2019. That may give an idea of what kind of crops might be the most profitable. NDSU Extension Crops Marketing Economist Frayne Olson will also do a great job of talking about market risks. The Money Farm founder Mike Krueger always brings an interesting perspective on supply and demand. I think it’s too soon to really talk about next year’s crops. We’ll have to see what the market brings this winter.” Pre-registration isn’t required. More on the September Marketing Seminar.
