BNSF Railway has wrapped up with its semi-annual meeting with agricultural stakeholders Thursday. North Dakota Grain Growers Association President Dan Wogsland participated in the Washington, D.C. meeting. System-wide, there seems be very few problems for grain rail movement. Of course, volume is down because of the trade war. “It sounded like there is a possibility that this trade dispute with China will be a long-term issue. That doesn’t bode well for our farmers.” Wogsland said the Administration’s wants to modify the trade behavior of the Chinese which is “a tall order.”
