The North Dakota Department of Agriculture is warning farmers about the possibility of individuals impersonating state employees. Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring says the Department has fielded calls from concerned farmers about individuals acting in an official capacity, taking photos and samples of wheat fields. NDDA has not found authorization for any work of this type and advises farmers to ask individuals for credentials and the reason for inquiring a crop sample.
