M – R Consulting owner Mark Ramsey says harvest in northeast North Dakota is moving along, though the region is short of rain. “It’s very dry. I hear 11 percent to 12 percent moisture is coming off, which is real dry for wheat. Quality is exceptional. I think yield-wise, it’s better than we anticipated. In this basket area, how you can grow a wheat crop from four inches of rain all summer is beyond me.”
