Wheat harvest is still about one week away in north central North Dakota. Dakota Agronomy Partners, Glenburn location agronomist Matthew Drader is desiccating wheat. “We started desiccating last weekend. Mostly just doing borders and the bad kochia spot. Seems like they’re trying to save a little bit of money.” Drader is expecting a decent wheat crop. “There’s kind of a pocket in here where its been pretty dry. They haven’t got the rains other places have. Everything looks pretty good other than some of it is pretty weedy. It’s hard to tell until the combines get in there.”
