The North Dakota Department of Agriculture will hold their annual Farmers Market Day at the Capitol August 8 in Bismarck. Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring says “there’s no better to celebrate National Farmers Market Week than to buy North Dakota grown or raised products directly from a farmer or rancher.” Nearly 20 vendors will participate in the market, which runs from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. North Dakota has more than 50 farmers markets, with over 8,600 farmers markets across the United States.
