In the central Red River Valley, near Hillsboro, Lovas Consulting owner Sarah Lovas says the crops are progressing well with timely rains. Weed management went well. “Where residuals were incorporated in soybeans, we had very good results. We’re very pleased with how that worked out. I have been hearing a lot more reports of waterhemp coming in to this area, at least in the Hillsboro area.” Farmers are getting ready for harvest and starting to think about next year.
