It is apparent soybean aphids are starting to fly. In a weekly report from Northwest Research and Outreach Center entomologist Ian MacRae, there is a significant increase in aphid vectors. Ada and Crookston reported the heaviest flights. With this alert, MacRae says it is time to start scouting soybeans.
