More than 200 agriculture groups have endorsed an ag labor bill called the Ag and Legal Workforce Act. Parts of this proposal were included in the immigration bill that was voted down last month in the House. The plan would create a new legal visa for immigrant workers, replacing the current H-2A visa program. The American Dairy Coalition is urging House leadership to bring this bill up for a vote before the August recess begins on Friday.
