North Dakota’s soybean crop is rated 81 percent good to excellent, with two percent of the crop setting pods, near last year and the average. USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service says six percent of the corn is silking, near four percent last year. Conditions are 86 percent good to excellent. Spring wheat is rated 82 percent good to excellent. Five percent of the spring wheat is coloring, near last year’s nine percent. The canola is 77 percent good to excellent. Four percent of the canola is coloring, near last year’s seven percent. The sugarbeets are rated 91 percent good to excellent.
