Bayer Crop Science Senior Technical Sales Representative John Martin reminds wheat growers to watch for timing of fungicide treatment. “We’re actually just getting started and a few a few barley fields and some early wheat are getting sprayed right now making recommendations for the weekend.” Martin says it’s critical to protect the crop from head scab. “The wheat right now, from what I can tell, is very clean disease-wise. But we’ve got a good crop coming. We want to continue on that good crop and protect it to the finish line.”
