Like the other crops in the Northern Plains, Bayer Crop Science InVigor Canola Sales Lead Kristi Sundeen says the canola crop is widely variable. “I just had a grower who reseeded due to the hail a few days ago. There’s crop not out of the ground yet. There is some of the crop still flowering. Within the next week, we’ll see a lot of the yellow showing up.” The crop is still at a pretty high risk for white mold during the flowering season. “Especially if we continue with the rains. Farmers also need to walk the fields.”
