In North Dakota, 88 percent of the soybean crop is emerging, which is behind last year, but ahead of the five-year average. USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service says soybean conditions are rated 82 percent good to excellent. Corn conditions are 81 percent good to excellent. Spring wheat is two percent headed, which is behind last year. Spring wheat conditions are 80 percent good to excellent. The sugarbeet crop is rated 90 percent good to excellent. Most of the canola crop is emerged, with five percent of the crop blooming. The canola is rated 69 percent good to excellent. Potatoes are mostly emerged, with conditions rated 91 percent good to excellent. Dry edible beans are emerging well, with the crop rated 84 percent good to excellent.
