Republican members of the Minnesota House Agriculture Committee have asked Agriculture Commissioner Dave Frederickson to extend the deadline for dicamba application. In a letter to Frederickson, the lawmakers contend the late spring and persistent rains have given farmers few opportunities to spray. The legislators want application deadline to be delayed until at least June 30 to match North Dakota’s cutoff date.
