The North Dakota Stockmen’s Association held their District 1 Spring Roundup meeting June 8 in Maddock. Executive Vice President Julie Ellingson says electronic logging device regulations, fake meat and the farm bill are top-of-mind for producers. On a state level, there is discussion about the no posting issue. “There was a bill introduced in the 2017 Legislative Session that would make all land presumed posted, without having to go through the steps of physically doing so,” says Ellingson. “Our president (Warren Zenker) has discussed action-steps taken by NDSA, based on the resolution passed by members at last year’s convention.”
