The North Dakota Industrial Commission approved $4.6 million in Outdoor Heritage Fund grants for 13 projects. Included in the approved projects was $50,000 to the Cass County Soil Conservation District to provide financial assistance to establish windbreak, wildlife and riparian tree plantings; $38,000 to Wells County Soil Conservation District to improve the Sheyenne watershed through two grazing management plans and one field windbreak planting, and $250,000 to the North McHenry County Soil Conservation District for installations of twenty to twenty-five grazing systems and completion of several grass plantings.
