Bayer is expected to wrap up its takeover of Monsanto Thursday. The company has approvals from all required regulatory authorities. Chairman of the Bayer AG Board, Werner Baumann, says in a statement the company be doubling the size of the agriculture business to create a leading innovation engine in agriculture, better serve customers and unlock long-term growth potential in the sector.
