Dennis Renner, who farms near Mandan, North Dakota, is wrapping up his planting schedule. “Soon, we’ll spray for broadleaves. Everything’s growing fast with this warm weather.” The corn is off to a good start and soybeans are being planted. “We were blessed with some showers, so things aren’t too bad. The further northwest of here it’s awful dry. They’ve missed some and then showers that we had. Pasture conditions will also be showing some stress.”
