Cargill now has majority interest in its joint venture with the Argentine agribusiness firm called Ledesma. The Minnesota company paid $66.5 million to take control of Glucovil. Cargill owns 70 percent of the joint venture and has the option to purchase the remaining shares between 2021 and 2023.
