There’s a new development in the trade dispute between the U.S. and China. President Donald Trump now plans to move forward with tariffs of $50 billion in Chinese imports and implement new limits on Chinese investment in U.S. technology businesses. The tariff list will be announced in mid-June. Retaliation against U.S. agricultural exports are again a possibility. This news came a couple weeks after Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said the trade war with China has been put “on hold.”
