With talks of a “skinny” North American Free Trade Agreement, R-CALF USA is urging the Trump Administration to stay at the negotiating table. In a statement, R-CALF CEO Bill Bullard said if deficiencies with Canada and Mexico cannot be corrected, such as trade surpluses, the U.S. should withdraw from NAFTA. The group is also encouraging President Trump to reinstate country-of-origin labeling and impose tariffs on cattle and beef from Canada and Mexico.
